Board Reports are now availalbe ONLINE

Among the first actions taken by Supervisor Parker after being sworn in to office in Janaury was a request that the full Board Packet, including the detailed staff reports for each agenda item be made availalbe online for the public to easily access. Thanks to the hard work of our new Clerk of the Board, Gail Borkowski, her talented staff, and of course the IT department, these reports went live on Thursday, April 16th.

The link below will take you to the Montery County webpage where you will be able to view the Staff reports for each upcoming agenda. Check it out and send your kudos to the Clerk of the Board at

Community Meeting on Marking Monterey County GREEN

ImageSupervisor Jane Parker is inviting all Monterey County residents to a community forum where she will talk about County Government’s potential role in addressing climate change and solicit ideas on how the County can be more pro-active on this important issue.

Even with policy changes at the government level, it will take the participation of individual County residents to address climate change. Everyone can take action on an individual level to make a difference. “We have an unprecedented opportunity to make the changes necessary to preserve the planet for future generations,” says Supervisor Parker. “The time to act is now; we cannot afford to wait. We need everyone to participate in this effort to be successful.”
